In this video Barrett Christiansen demonstrates how to tie a Quigley style Green Drake Emerger. Also often called a crippled pattern this style of fly hangs in the surface film and can be the answer when fish refuse to eat the high floating dry fly patterns. In the video Barrett uses, Ostrich, Antron Yarn, Deer Hair and Grizzly Dry Fly Hackle to create the fly. Many May fly imitations can be tied using this style, just change color and size to match your desired bug
