On Friday 21 August at 6:30pm on the Channel 10 program 'Neighbours', there was a scene involving a Deaf character, and an interpreter.
This Deaf character was David Grant, a student from Victorian College for the Deaf, and the interpreter was Daniel Hately.
The scene was quite short, but involves Coby (David's character) purchasing a dog from Callum, Toadies son, and Coby's friend (Daniels character) interpreting for him.
Reviving old video. but I know David aswell.. :3 old friend :3 :)

Neighbours has never had someone who has a mental disorder.
They had Bi-Polar, ADHD and now Deaf it's time for Down Syndrome I think.
