Simply put it's one of the greatest songs ever written and performed. It was released n the fall of 1964 and composed by Holland Dozier Holland, and was the Four Tops first hit. It reached No.11 on the billboard charts and has now passed into folklore as classic definitive motown. Masterfully led by the great Levi Stubbs and atmospherically backed by Fakir, Payton and Benson.

I live in MI. Just outside of Detroit. I grew up on Motown music. My aunt took me on vacation in the mid-sixties to Atlantic City NJ. She took me to my first concert when I was 8 years old @ the Steel Pier. Saw the 4 Tops & the Temptations. What a cool first concert. Funny thing, I had to go almost 600 miles to see 2 of the top Motown groups EVER!!!
