@djdiu the comment was at someone else i pressed reply wrong haha but yes i guess metrou is similer but spelt to go with the langauge's accent I'm guessing? :P see Subway to me is a type of long sandwich with lots of fillings in it not transport lol

@92MariaK yeah well thanks for the info, I already knew that, sorry, maybe Americans call it subway more often, I heard them calling it underground more often in England. But in Romania it's deffo called metrou, if someone says subway he/she is too "americanized" and well that in kinda anoying sometimes :)
-
@djdiu actually no in English is it not "Subway" because in England they call it the Underground or Metro. Infact metro is short for Metropolitan, which was the name of the first underground line in the world, the present day Metropolitan line of the London Underground. And most countries today call their systems Metros anyways..

@radoou it's called subway in English, it's metrou in Romanian :)

"Atenție, se închid ușile!" = "Attention, the doors are closing!"
"Urmează stația: ..." = "Next station: ..."
"... cu peronul pe partea (stângă/dreaptă)" = "The platform is on the (left/right) side"
