  • I think when you buy a Kidde of First Alert all's you're paying for is the name brand. I like these and they're like 5 bucks. These work just as good as an expensive one does.

  • i tryed this and it never worked and i have the same one

  • you mean it dose beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep and dose not puse

  • ya try a hear dyer to test the alarm

  • how u put it on march time

  • u got an ionization smoke detector

  • Maybe yours is a slightly different model. Some firefighters tested the FG888D and they got basically the same results that I did.

  • Pulse is a VERY fast march time coding.

  • Well, it worked for me. I did a smoke test on it, and it went off within 5 seconds. And the smoke was 1ft from the alarm and it went off! LOL

  • These Family Gard FG888D smokes should seriously be recalled. I do my own "smoke tests" on my smoke detectors, and even my 15 year old 83R was more sensitive than a new one of these!
