Innovations today for tomorrow - Slovenian innovation forum

The first 15 minutes of the TV Show "Innovations today for tomorrow" ("Inovacije danes za jutri"). It was produced by RTV Slovenia and JAPTI, directed by Mojca Mavec and shown on RTV SLO2 on 18.12.2010 at 20 o'clock.

The whole show is 41 minutes and 44 seconds long and was made in the scope of the 5th Slovenian innovation forum, an event promoting Slovenian inventors and innovators. It takes us through the scene of the 5th Slovenian innovation forum and Slovenian innovations through the history, presents some of the innovators at the event, key institutions that help create a supportive environment for innovations in Slovenia and it shows interviews with 5 innovators together with their companies that won in their category.

These 15 minutes only show the introduction and (starting at 10:09) the interview with Žiga Ramšak, a software developer and Matjaž Šajn, the director of CGS plus d.o.o. Žiga Ramšak was awarded for his method of optimum fit of road axes and longitudinal profile to geodetic topology. The method is unique and has already been implemented in CGS software products for civil engineering design Plateia, Ferrovia and Aquaterra as well as Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011.
