On the 27th of March 2010 the Three Peaks Trial was held in the Black Mountains, the Platinum route involed a walk of 17 miles and 5000' of ascent from Lanthony to Abergavenny over Bal Mawr, Pen Cerrig Calch and Sugar Loaf. A big thanks to Longtown Mountain Rescue Team and all who made the event possible.
