  • Hi

Sorry for the delay everyone, I haven't been back at YouTube for some time, and I wanted to leave the follow up video for enough time to show have they are in the long term. Now three years after the surgery, and my eyesight is still excellent - in fact, I have just been for a routine appointment at the optician - I will add another video very soon!

  • Oh, and good luck with your surgery and recovery!

  • Glad you found the videos useful - it's nearly four months now, and I am due to go back for a check-up next week. I'd say my eyesight is 90% there - it's possible it will need a 'tweak', just down to the fact some people heal differently to others. Although it hasn't been 100% (yet!), I don't doubt it for a moment - driving, swimming etc. is amazing, and I have a life without glasses. The surgery holds no fear for me any more - just be aware that full recovery takes around 3 months with Lasek.

  • I have really enjoyed your diary. I had LASEK surgery yesterday. I'm curious how you are doing now? Thanks

  • Thanks Martin. How are you now?

  • Thanks Martin, it's a week tomorrow!

Im prepared, I think, for a long recovery, and it's reassuring that you are not too bothered by the Surgery!!

I wouldn't be surprised if I have to have the Surgery done more than once, just because I am -7.75 in my right eye and -6.75 in the left, but it will all be worth it in the end, I'm sure.

I'm glad you are getting there, fingers crossed you're eyes will be 100% soon.

Thanks again - Gonna start taking my Kalms on Monday LOL :o)
