What would you charge to fly a helicopter 50' to 100' feet off the ground and only a foot away from 230,000 volt power lines while picking up a lineman. Remember it's not the height, it's the amperes and only 12 inches away. One mistake and everybody is fried. Checkout more on Air2 work all over the world.

  • I think the point is this guy is 50' off the ground standing on a tower carrying 230,000 volts jumping over to a hovering helicopter that could lose power and it would be instant death for everyone in about 3 seconds and he does this everyday, many times a day. What do you do everyday at your job?

  • i bet he has a good life insurence poloce

  • i think the guy who's riding has it more dangerous. he has to trust his life into someone else's hands.

  • It's the amps _through the body_ that can kill you, not the amps through the line. The amps through the body are determined by the _voltage difference_. So it's the voltage that's dangerous, not amps through the line. You could touch a bare metal car battery post while starting the engine. It has several hundred amps running through it, but it won't harm you since it's 12V. Not enough to get a serious current through your body.

  • That ain't that scary :(

  • HUGHES 500 helicopter!!!!! Just like the one in MAGNUM P. I. This video needs the theme music played, better here than a make-up commercial, wouldn't you say?

  • he's cute!

  • @ElRebeldeDeGuerrero
