  • who are you batman?

  • A wonderland !

  • When the shit hits the fan, I know who I'm rolling with! :]

  • hagglunds BV206 is about the only military vehicle worth having in a 'get the fuck outta here' scenario.....they will go ANYWHERE and have less footprint weight per square inch than a human on foot

  • @ScottsUtubeWorld Because it's a damn sight more sensible than spending huge time and effort preparing for things that only exist in your head.

Did you ever stop to think how absolutely impractical these vehicles are anyway and with the fuel consumption and specialised logistic support they need, they'll be even more useless in time of an emergency.

  • @ozzirt Good point. I'm not preparing for anything. I'm not even keeping an umbrella in my car anymore. If it rains, I'll just get pneumonia regardless. Hey... since we're all going to die eventually, why wait?

  • If the shite ever really hits the fan, the most likely scenario is that the wind will blow your ashes away, and these half melted relics will slowly decompose and be buried in the snow of a nuclear winter that will last several centuries.

Other than that they will just remain as crappy old museum pieces.

  • An Alvis Stalwart or 'Stolly' . Do they still have their wading gear, pumps etc?

As military vehicles go these are superb looking vehicles. Imagine seeing one of these in your rear-view mirror. If they still have their original engines then they're Rolls Royce military units. They used to have a habit of shooting out flames from the exhaust - which considering they were built to transport fuel and supplies to the battle front wasn't too brilliant.

  • is that a marble deck on the boat??? O.o

  • how much gas would it take to drive any distance in one though
