Val (Short for Valentine as he has a heart on his nose in place of a snip) is a reg. 2003 15.1 hand dun blanketed app. He is a grandson of Dreamfinder. Previous owner used him for overnight trail and camp riding for 4 years. He stood unridden since last August to Feb. and rode off like a charm. Currently being worked with and ridden using Natural Horsemanship techniques. He is quiet and patient and has excellent ground manners. Rides out alone or with others, can pony him or pony other horses (up to 3 others) behind him. Exposed here to dogs, chickens, goat, bison, traffic, truck traffic, semis, 4 wheelers, kids, commotion, etc. He is trail and traffic safe. Rides in simple snaffle when using a bit. Tacks up great, not cinchy or irritable. He is also very forgiving. Crosses water and bridges.
