Here is a little test I did of the wall glitch trick. I played on emulator with save states at normal speed just to make the video quicker. I believe this is the first place that the wall glitch can be used. The experience received from the dead character is his/her exp mod 65536 (thanks to HHS for figuring this out), which means that we need to get a character just below that mark to get the max exp return. The boy and girl are killed in that order so that the girl will be just below that exp point and give the sprite the biggest return. In an actual run a possible strategy would be to have the girl killed in boss fights so that she can get to the necessary point more quickly without going over. Fireball seems to be the best bet for this trick because it can hit multiple targets. Even though this looks like it will take 4 minutes minimum to do, the result should be worth it. The sprite's int goes from 34 to 50 and his mp goes from 17 to 37. Also, this trick will give you enough gold to never worry about money for the rest of the game I believe, and will allow us to pick up the circlet and lazuri ring, boosting his int another 10 to 60. This may possibly allow to skip leveling Luna, which would save most of the time back right there.
