I was 14 when I first heard the ABB, and now, at 57, I can honestly say that they have played the soundtrack to, and marked the mileposts of, my life. "Fillmore East" still sends rushes through me with every listen, and I'm ultimately to be buried with my original release vinyl copy of it. Meantime..., see you at Wanee!!!

i've been playing now for over 17 years, i am self taught and I swear to God, Duane is a spiritul guide and teacher of mine, I have perfected every song these guys have ever recorded and I know it is not me, it is Duane shining his light and helping me along the way. Eat a peach brothers and sisters

Thanks for sharing this small piece of Allman History with me. I fell in love with this band when I was 16 Years old, and had the good fortune of seeing DA 4X. I was also fortunate enough to see their 1st concert without Duane; Dickey Betts showed his gift that night, and although they were all hurting, we knew that the band would survive. Thanks for sharing this. Its like the third pc of home footage that I've seen in 3 wks.
