Moving away to college and beginning the next phase of your education is a major life change. You'll be saying goodbye to family and old friends and may be living away from home for the very first time. You'll be challenged with connecting names with faces, settling in to new places and thinking in ways that are new. Spring Arbor University's New Student Orientation was designed to help ease you through this transitional time. But you're not the only one affected by these big changes. Your parents and siblings will most likely experience a time of emotional (and possibly physical!) upheaval when you leave for college. Don't worry! There are orientation programs to help your parents, too.
