der verbrauch liegt bei rund 12-13L bei meiner fahrweise.

Dann check mal deine lambdas und auch mal alles reinigen vor allem den LMM da ist was faul normal ist der mit 10 bis 11 L zu fahren.

Hey also ich fahre auch ein 2.8E mit automatikgetriebe. unter 13-15 liter geht da garnichts. laut tacho hört er bei knapp 230 auf was ca 215 kmh sind... und der eingetragenen höchstgeschwindigkeit auch entspricht. mehr geht nicht ohne was am auto zu verändern

fahre auch ein 2.8 E bj 94 mit automatik... laut anzeige soll der durchschnittsverbrauch bei mir grade mal bei 10.1 l liegen... denke aber selbst bei sparsamer fahrweise bekommst du den nicht unter 14-15 liter.

@D12eams i said rather. when these cars were new, the 1.8E wasn't fast either. And why GTI engine? Audi has no such thing as a GTI. And as far as i know, the engine in the Golf III GTI was the same as the 2.0E 8V 115 PS. whatever, in fact 1.8E was never fast and will never be, as i said. not even compared to cars with the same power. its just an average engine. i live in germany and the fuel price is high over here too, but then ive got to say, buy a smaller car or get a better paid job.

Well... Economy engine? Where do you live :D? Because here the fuel price kills me and the 1.8E engine isn't really economic. And the 1.8E is actually a GTI engine, which is pretty fast actually but it cannot keep anymore with the modern diesel cars. It could... but then it has to drink a lot of fuel...

@D12eams its definitely not older than me. but i think it was already not really fast at the time it came out. the 2.8 engine is meant for cruising rather than being fast. and 1.8 was not fast in the past and its never going to be.. 1.8 is rather an economy engine. ive got an audi cabrio with this 2.8 engine, its okay for its power over 100 kmh, but under this speed you get beaten by a fucking corsa.
