John McCain won the Florida GOP presidential primary tonight and likely the Republican nomination, but the real news of the night was that rival Mitt Romney summoned the genius of Miss Teen South Carolina during his concession speech. During that speech, which rudely cut off a similar concession by Rudy Giuliani, Romney said "our jobs are being sought by new competitors -- countries like Asia and India."
A month & a half ago, I was let go from my job. I am a 45 yr. old white male, SC resident, Navy veteran & American Legion member. I am a hard worker & I don't believe in sittng on my rear collecting a check. If anyone can aid in my quest, I would be greatful. I am looking in the following counties: Aiken, Edgefield, Greenwood, Lexington, Newberry & Saluda. Either reply or call 864-554-0517 or 864-445-8545. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks.

More tax money should go to education. And teach something about REST of the world too. "Countries like Asia" LOL. Romney should atleast study the world map a bit, travelling around the world is not a bad idea too.

Romney is nothing more than a slick business man...
he even said he would contact his lawyers to advise him on attacking nuclear facilities in Iran...
he is fake...makes alot of empty promises
I will vote Ron Paul because his voting record is the only one that actually follows the constitution and he is the only one that doesnt look like a cardboard candidate.

Of course India is part of Asia and it still is. Grasp the concept of what Romney is saying instead of picking at a misspoken word.
Cheap labor from foreign countries in Asia and elsewhere has done great damage to American manufacturing and our economy.
Look at the labels on everything you buy and then you might get a clue about what Romney is talking about.

Clueless McCain requires a ghost-written speech which he attempts to deliver from a teleprompter at the back of a room and still flubs it all the way through. McCain can't look away for more than 3 words or he loses his place reading what someone else has written for him.
Romney gave this speech off the cuff without script, notes or prompters.
Romney's reference to "ASIA" was the countries
of Asia collectively. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence would know that.

Big deal, I thought he spoke very well considering that his speech was off the cuff. Still not sure who I'm voting for, but I'm leaning more and more towards Mitt. I'd rather see Obama than McCain.
