If you have an L.C.D. display screen & it suffers from a problem where it will display for 20-40 seconds & then fail there appears to be a common problem. i fixed 2 L.C.D. displays by replacing burnt out capacitors, a very easy job, too simple. Now the novice with no prior knowlege of electrics will know what to look out for if you have no money & want to fix such a sceen.
Be Aware: The transformer used appears to put out very high current you should unplug the screen before opening it & insulate things (have to warn some people about those things because it does not always occur to them)

  • @jsl151850b Correct!

  • I'd say the reason the bottom was brighter than

the top is there are two independent lamps and

lamp power supplies. The bottom one is working

    properly with the appropriate components.

  • That green cap IS NOT rated for high voltage. Those blue caps are usually rated for 1kv (1000Volts) or more. I suspect that green cap is rated for 50,maybe 100V.

  • the brightness is from diff power distribution.

it is SUPER hard to try to find thease....

    i fix them to!!!!

  • ill keep this on file, thanks for sharing
