Another rare cut from the Sun City album.. This one is the 'Hip Hop song' from that album and features legends like Mele-Mel who kicks things off, Scorpio from GM Flash, Kurtis Blow, the Fat Boys and Gil Scott heron who provides insightful running commentary.. Its an incredible song that should've gotten alot more shine..

  • Somebody said whatever happened to the seperation between church and state? I said, "Especially THIS church and THAT state?" Timeless stuff. Miss you GSH.

  • RIP-GSH = Legend !!!!!!!!!!!

  • The legend himself, Sonny Okosun, from 3:20 to 3:54

  • The 3 Fat boys, Mr. Kurtis Blow, Mele Mel. "Let me see your ID" ...hhhmmmm..... I heard them words at Wally World this morning.......or NO even exchanges ma'am!!!

    hhhmmmmmmm..........

  • MILES DAVIS ON TRUMPET TOO. I HAD THIS ON TAPE WHEN IT CAME OUT

  • @Beauvoir666 -- Just keepin' down white rappers. Kidding, mrdaveyd, and thanks for having this up for YouTube consumption.

  • @Anahita61 -- Mixing apples and oranges. Ensuring someone is in any country (or U.S. state) legally is no different than what most of the free world's been doing for years. Just ask the Mexican government what happens if you can't supply your international visa.

  • I have the Sun City album - it's great! This song is so appropriate now - who would ever have imagined we would have apartheid in our country, in Arizona?!

  • i remember this when my big brotha bought this i always listened to this song and the very last song on this soundtrak i didn.t know it had to with cuba or did it ? it was a huge thing in south africa this apartheid news especially on the news at 6 thats when i had to look up the word i never knew how much this word sent a chill down me i wasn.t very good at school but this also one history lesson that will live with me for along time
