I've been trying to make something like this, how do you program it do that it constantly scans for each color instead of searching for them in order? thanks

Would it be fast enough to play in realtime to lights chnging colors and feeding the optical sensor? (I guess would need to be multi-threaded to do so).

Its mostly just parts from the standard kit but there were a few from the advanced kit, like the chain drive. As far as exactly what parts, I don't remember. I was a school project and it was disassembled long ago.
