Great Central Winter Steam Gala 29/1/11 Part 1

Over weekend 28th to 30th January the Great Central held there popular Winter Steam Gala with a Banbury theme which is quit ideal for GCR as the line use to be connected to Banbury. The Gala was feature locomotives from all of the Big 4 railway companies specially GWR.

The full line was:

GWR: 3717 City of Truro from the National Collection
GWR: 14XX 1450 from the Dean Forest Railway
GWR: Small Parier 5526 from South Devon Railway
GWR: Hall 4953 Pitchford Hall new resident on GCR now
GWR: 2800 3850 newly re painted in br black from West Somerset Railway
LMS: Black 5 45305 Resident
SR: King Arthur 30777 Sir Lamiel Resident
LNER K4 61994 The Great Marquess on its apperance at the GCR
