C. T. Russell was positively NOT the founder of the JWs. He was long dead when in 1931 the revised organization under Rutherford took on that name. Russell was not a prophet, and never claimed to be. He, therefore, never spoke any false prophecies (a guess is not a prophecy!).

Perhaps you could point me to where it was he said he was "guessing"... because I can show you quotes that show Russell didn't at all think he was guessing.

In addition, while the name may have changed it is still the SAME organization.

Charles taze russell DID NOT found the Jdubs.rutherford did in 1931.the groups were quite different.russells group the bible students are nothing like booze rutherfords group.he jfr coined the jw name to seperate from the bible students.75%%%%%% of bible students LEFT after russell died in 1916...just google bible students...

The year 1919 is the most important date in WT/JW theology, even more important than 1914 , It was in that year, so they claim, that Jesus suposedly inspected all the religions of the world and determined that only JW's were teaching truth. Is there any evidence or facts to substantiate this? None whatsoever! It is simply a masterful illusion created by the WT to establish themselves as the Governing Body, self-appointed, giving them full authority to excercise total control over all JW's.

Even if Rutherford organization was different from Russell organization if he is the founder of the JW then it make JW a MAN made religion. A Organization founded by a man equal a cult.
