vash would win. Besides the angel arm, vash has better skill and superhuman feats. The goofy stuff is just an act, and it's a good way to not start pointless fight. Vash has a superior mind, he thinks on another level(when he was still a kid he and his brother understood alien technology), and he also showed signs of telepathy so he will predict Spikes movements .Vash will stop Spike without the need to kill him just like he did with most of his opponents.

Despite the fact he's a goofy pacifist, Vash wields unmatched skill. He's a peaceful weapon of mass destruction. That's the irony of the character and a theme within Trigun.
So, no. Popularity aside, he can't be beat by Spike.

I love both animes. If this is about coolness they're equal, but if it's who'd win in a fight it's obviously Vash. No contest. Not even close.

Why do you guys think it ends the way it does? Trigun and Bebop are 2 of the best animes out there, and there's really no clear-cut winner. In my opinion, it'd be Vash, but that's just 'cuz he's got the Angel-Arm.

Hell nah. Spike's a fuckin' G, but Vash is a fuckin' beast. Besides, with one shot from the Angel Arm, Vash could drop the whole Bebop.

i love this vid! i think it's awesome! the only thing i dont like about it is it makes Vash seem like the bad guy by killing that girl. which anyone who watched the show knows he wouldn't of done that. other then that it was epic! 5/5 thanks for the upload. this was a blast from the past.

lol true. So the other guy's name is Spike? I've never seen Cowboy Bebop {I've heard a little about it} but ain't he suppose to be a bounty hunter??

Yep. Spike Spiegel. You should if you liked Trigun, Cowboy Bebop is right up that alley. And I like it mostly because it's centered around music, subtly and other times obviously.
