Malays have lost most of their tradition and culture. They have discarded what they consider i unislamic in their daily practices. There is no argument here for the Malays. They have disowned their heritage and now claim Bali's Pendet as part of the heritage. Shame on you Malays

My advice read alot infomation ok =) Malaysia is not Thai,Burmese Relative..but Austronesian family..Sumatra and Penuslar have very2 good relation more that thound year..ask sumatra people and tries to ask Malays of Sumatra called :melayu tak punya budaya..hehe.jangan sibuk2 gayang negara orang lain..gayang malaysia atau gayang brunei atau singapura.sibukan dengan urusan Acheh,Maluku dan papua supaya tidak terlepas dari NKRI

Yes, some dances are performed by man. Baris, Topen Tua, Jauk Manis, Kebbyar Terompong, Oleg Tamulilingan, etc...

anybody knows where I could learn bali dances in Jakarta or Bali?
I have learnt bali dances for 20 years since I was 4 years old but I stopped because my job. Now I miss so much to dance again but I forgot some dances :(

Hello,
You can learn Bali dance in Bali at the Guest House below (Yuliati House). The dancer in the video, Yuliati, will give you a lesson. You may ask her father where to learn. He knows Bali dance and gamelan inside out at Peliatan and Ubud. They are professional and friendly.
