Her father is Valdir Bundchen and her mother Vânia Nonnenmacherr they're both Brazilians from german descendence, grandmother and grandfather they're all brazilians.. Maybe her great-grandfather or great-grandmother is german.

The german immigration to Brazil started in 1818 and today they are 18 million .

well gisele only has blonde highlights, and she doesn't look german or nordic at all! I've been to south brazil and I think the people look very much south american :) (which is still nice though). It's not just hair colour, it's features in general. descending from germany doesn't mean german, it takes much effort for blonde genes to survive.
