  • I own an E2D LED defender.I have a suggestion/plea that you incorporate a TIR Lens in your light to focus the beam instead of a reflector because of it's smooth-even and tighter beam you get out of its use. TIR means "Total Internal Reflection" [Lens]. Traditional reflectors get pitted and corroded by moisture and make an ugly beam unless you dimple it, giving you a flood beam. i like tighter beams

  • @PushingD I have looked at a bunch of TIR lenses from Ledil, Fraen, and Carclo. I have not ruled it out but there are some other issues. The main issue is there are not a lot of options yet for the CREE XM-L lamp because it is so new.

  • I wanted to know if I just have to "wait" until it starts shipping?

I did pledge $60 I believe and wanted to know what the best way to go about learning a bit more in regards to actually "receiving" my item. When will be shipped to me? My name is Wendell Fernandes in case you want to find out that is really me.

    Thank you!

  • @wendellverli We are working on finalizing the design. Then we make a few for testing, then we go into production. We are working as quickly as we can.

  • I went in for the 2 Flex level. 1 is for my Brother in Law, a New Hampshire police officer. Will the additional testing required for tactical certification be taking place?

  • @7eyehydra if we do the testing it will be after the production period.

    Christian,

How much of the head of the flashlight has to retain the larger diameter?

  • You ever thought about making torch ala Maglite series ? That would be interesting :-))

  • Thanks for the update. Take your time and continue to do a good job. I can tell you are conscientious thoughtful and will deliver a fantastic flashlight. Everything is a compromise.

  • Dude, liking the big ole flex beast! Am hoping it will surpass my surefire G3 led (3 cell-80/100 lumens) maybe I can pre-order one??
