The video describes simple BGP troubleshooting techniques, including session troubleshooting, BGP route origination troubleshooting and route propagation troubleshooting. These procedures are illustrated in a simple two-site MPLS/VPN-based network using BGP as the PE-CE routing protocol. You can download the original video from wiki.nil.com/BGP

One of the questions you want to raise maybe ,LATENCY? , there are many reasons why latency pops out on your network... it could be caused by your LAN itself like Broadcast storms. Or it could be latency w/in the telco CORE network or the distance from custumers router to providers edge router..Or the circuit is just maxing out or just plain degraded.. You just need to isolate and work hand in hand with your NOC or to your telcos NOC .

With MPLS I think it's a smart move to do if you still into point to point or ATm or Frame Relay. I've been working for quite sometime now in telco and more and more customers are going to MPLS circuits.. Why? Well, the security, reliability, lower cost and easy to maintain/bandwidth utilization are just the examples.
