violent femmes and this song came out in the early 80's. it was before its time, and you cant just write off country as a genre in a whole. what a douche.

I got hooked on V. Femmes when I was a freshman at a private college ,then carried my fav. albums onto various moves... lost my 'blister in the sun ' album on the move to Washington, DC summer of '87 wahhh! Now live in St. Gallen Switzerland...loved catching up via u tube today! ROCK ON!

I became fixed on Violent femmes with my best girl friend on our senior European senior summer Euro rail and youth hostel pass! What wonderful summers. My sweetest girlfriend would walk into hostels fanning her beautiful blonde locks (no other hints given) and even her linen blouse was in perfect order after a nights toughing it on the train! She's tougher than she looks my friends!

yup u were def either right in front of me or behind me i hear my laugh and me talking.... i was 4th row 2 seats away from catwalk... awesome u wud prob remember me i am 6'7
