  • The video was shot in Truckee. Although I mostly ride in the US and South Africa

  • If that section of the race course was really that rough, I'd shoulder my 26er and run past that dumbass. Are 29ers only for stupid people?

  • @RBK855 Why dont you bring your 26" bike, you pick the course, and I can kick your ass?

  • is it possible to put 29er tires on a bike that has 26 like the stumpjuper would that save me money from buying a 29er bike that i want like the gary fisher mamba thats 900 where as the specialized disc that is a 26er is 750 would it cost 150 to ut 29er tires on it

  • No, unfortunately you cant fit 29er wheels on a 26" bike. Otherwise everyone would have done it...

  • this is whats it like riding a normal street here in winter, cept those rocks would be frosen ice.

  • Great demo vid, Thanks. I am definitely considering a 29er.

  • @REALCaveman Where do you ride?

  • I would have used the pavement ! Geesh

  • ahhhh show off!!! Just cause everyone else avoids that! I even closed my eyes watching this.

  • I have both 26er and 29er bikes. It would be unfair to compare these two tit for tat because the 29er Marin is a steel framed rigid bike with singlespeed drivetrain while as 26" Spec Stumpy hardtail is a more racier bike (i wouldnt say 'race bike' because its heavy as a pig). I ride a medium size frame and I can definately say that 29er maybe too big for smaller sized rider like me. it handles like a u-haul truck. However it does have a ton of grip and can be very fun on the trail.

  • @REALCaveman LOL! I'd pull a Levi Leipheimer on your dumb-clown-wheeled-bike-ass!
