AIRSHIP EUREKA VERTICAL CHALLENGE 2009

Eureka, the only Zeppelin in the United States, puts on a demonstration at the " VERTICAL CHALLENGE" Airshow June 20, 2009 at the San Carlos airport in san Carlos, California. @Ichvyenichalster mmm, not that long, more like 75 years ago, the Hindenburg was from 1936-1937, but you're right, it was twice as wide as the much hyped Titanic and 78 feet shorter than Titanic (not much) Hindenburg:804 ft long, Titanic:882 feet long.

And think, 100 years ago we had the hindenburg. 800 feet long... the size of the titanic. sigh... good times.
