I have read trough the comments, and I don't understand why people think that a hovercraft can't be steered by wheels. I guess they have never seen hovercrafts propelled/steered/stabilized by lightly loaded wheel(s) like Bertin & Cie Terraplane BC4, BC6, BC7, Hover Rover, Hover Jak etc.
An what's up with sidewall hovercrafts or other hovercrafts propelled by ship propeller/water jet. These hovercrafts usually have a buoyant hull section. Is that cheating too?
So I think it's a great hovercraft!

Only on wheels when it is not hovering. The Wheels on the left are for protection when the bag is deflated, this protects the bag from damage. The other two big wheels contact the surface only when steering and or braking is required. The measurements are the key. The little wheels are about 3/4" above the surface when the bag is inflated. The big wheels are about 1/2" above the surface when the bag is inflated. We used it more then 18 times with no damage. Reuseable. Thank you. Otis

That doesnt look like a hovercraft, at least not a true one. Lose the wheels and add a drop pit for braking and some rudders for steering, Otis M.

Hi James,
Thanks for your comment. I went that route with the drop pit and a rudder. However, that was good but not absolute control. I wanted to see if I could "hover" with the wheels and the braking to the wheel. So, Just because I could I added the bike parts and found that not only could I hover, but by leaning over to the right I could control my steering and braking when needed. Now to change the blower to DC power I will be able to take it out on a flat street and go. Thanks, Otis
