Right around here is when I could no longer tolerate watching. Adonis was trying to pull off a half gay/half "Goregous George" thing but only looked stupid. Piper was never the same as a face as a heel even though his kind of got forced to flip. At this point the WWF was in transition and couldn't move to something new and was a charachature of its former self.
