Uhh.. actually how many bama fans do you know that celebrate this win? It was 10 years ago. That's about the only thing to celebrate.
But I do credit that every team should celebrate an SEC championship, But it's not like we wake up and say "We beat you guys in 99!" It's like saying UF fans still celebrate the '08 SECCG win. There's no point, and ofcourse they would. Otherwise in your words "It's sad we still celebrate it." RTR.

the POINT sir.....is we beat floridas ass tiwce in a single year and depending on what happens, we may have a chance to do it AGAIN in the sec AND national title games. if bama falls to numer two, and florida goes back to 1, and we BEAT them in the sec title game......then its 1 vs 2 for the title. i would KILL to see it.....bama will HAVE the title this year. florida better watch their ass.....theres a TIDE rolling in.

sad that bama fans still celebrate this win. spurrier built the florida dynasty yes but meyer ain't spurrier. florida is a complete team under meyer. we don't have a coach throwing his hat around cause he's all concentrated on the offense and nothing else anymore thank god. that is what caught up with spurrier around 99 and it was evident and on display in this game. remywood81... u can say whatever u want about florida being a complete team and meyer a great coach... tebow is florida and when he is gone so is florida and so is meyer so u better enjoy it for one more year.

Of course Bama will celebrate every SEC title win. So will UF.

But UF is a great team under Meyers. No doubt about that. UF is the class of the SEC right now. But Bama played them hard last year...we just came up short.

Hope we meet UF again in the Atlanta this year...hope we can get the win! RTR!
