cant beat carlos spencer with the passing tricks tho

@079Spartan That aside, surely its crossing anyway
-
He is running sideways but it is still probably fractionally forwards measuring from the line at 0:20 . Class move nonetheless.

This is not rugby!
It is a poetry!

@Nugget312 Nah. Intentional throw forward. See law 12 of the rule book. IRB website. I won't say that BOD knew or wanted to throw it forward but that is the result if you run in a forward direction down the field, throw the ball in the air and catch it again yourself. Different if he was going sideways or backwards but no good strictly according to the rules. No-one pinged him for it though. I don't think its very good for the game on the whole though if it were allowed.

this guy is good, one of the best, and perfectly legal move coz the ball didnt hit another player or the floor - its just like somebody catching a ball and juggling with it for a bit before they actually get hold of it properly except here he's done it on purpose :) seriously if he thought that up he deserves a medal or something :)

@springbokk4life Yes we are watching at an angle and there is a nice white line along the turf that helps us judge it, having said that I have heard people say it is about the throwing motion not the path of the ball that matters, not been able to find an official copy of the rules to check. He passed the ball backwards but went forwards with momentum.
-
It wasn't forward. Remember you are watching at an angle.
No idea what that commentator is talking about.
-
Thats legal he just threw the ball up in the and caught it. Great Stuff.

@senluijr I dont think it did but in any case it wasn't a pass cos it didnt touch another player, or the ground for that matter so not a knock on either.
I disagree. I think it was a completely legal move. Genius too.

no its one hundred percent legal. its not a knock on, the ball didn't touch the ground. its not a forward pass, he didn't pass the ball, he maintained possesion. and its not obstruction or cross over, because when he was behind his team member, he did not have the ball in his hands.
