La Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil is responsible for over 40-percent of all healthcare in and around the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Founded in 1888, La Junta is directed by a board of 39 volunteers, all of whom have led extremely successful business careers. From maternity, to schools for orphans, a general hospital and homes for the elderly, La Junta does it all.
