In this video I briefly identify some of the key functions (modes) on your camera dial that we will take advantage of during this series. Such modes include Tv (Shutter Priority), Av (Aperture Priority) and M (fully manual operation).

  • Hey! what's "Tav" mean?

  • @prashee001 Hi, the "Tav" button is for "Shutter Priority." On this setting you can manually adjust the shutter speed and everything else gets set automatically. It's useful for control with capturing fast or slow moving objects, but you lose control over your aperture / depth of field (and ISO) settings.
