Evil bastards tried to hide a weak fuse INSIDE the power transformer windings and then make the transformer unavailable! Those naughty boys tried to make me junk a good receiver... but the cat is out of the bag. It will last a very long time now.

Carefully pick away the white heat shrink tubing covering the fuse nested between the primary and secondary winding bobbins/forms. Crush that ceramic fuse case and gently lift the fuse end wires to gain best access. Use a thin body soldering iron to solder a jumper wire to link the two together. You could also simply twist the two fuse end wires together with needle nose pliers if you don't like soldering.

It's okay if your iron melts the the white plastic winding forms trying to get to the short lead wires; okay as long as you keep away from the windings themselves.
