Section 5 of the GI Rights training is GI attorney James Branum talking about the Delayed Entry Program (DEP), and how to advise someone who want to leave that program before they are actually in the military. He suggests contacting J.E. McNeil at the Center on Conscience and War. (the web link is below) You can also contact us: GIAdvocates@yahoo.com 719-229-5548 (Bobby)
the Oath u take is very serious BUT if your recruiter enlist u in a shady way it taints your Oath as well. And not to mentioned people who have taken the same Oath before and have done the most horrible things thatg u can possibly imagined may it be in peace time or war
So you say that the oath of enlistment that you swear in with isn't real? I think that you need to stop worring about somthing that you know nothing about. Quite frankly you should spend more time worring about your weight, dont you know that obesity can kill you.
Thank you man, you have eased my mind.

You can't be in the real Delayed Entry Program unless you have been medically screened and had FBI background check at MEPS.

I'm in the DEP for the Navy and I never get free pizza, but we do have P.E. which is intense! Some of the guys even vomited!! hahaa
But the only reason I'm "waiting" is because the program I'm in is about 9 months backed up.
