A compilation of interviews from some of this year's special guests: Anne Jeffreys - Riff-Raff (1947), Sherry Jackson - The Breaking Point (1950), Robert Loggia - The Garment Jungle (1957), Patty McCormack - The Bad Seed (1956) and Ann Rutherford - Inside Job (1946).
The lighting was too dark in the theatre and the video didn't turn out, but the audio was too good to waste. Interviews conducted by Alan K. Rode, Foster Hirsch and Kim Morgan.
Photos of Anne Jeffreys, Sherry Jackson, Robert Loggia and Patty McCormack taken at the festival are by Gordon Parr, NotesFromPalmSprings.com
Hope you enjoy!
Each interview lasted around 20 minutes and covered more than just the movie screened at the festival. If there's interest, I'll edit more of the interviews and upload.
Well done. More with Ann Rutherford in a piece about the Backlot Film Festival honoring Mickey Rooney available here on youtub. She and Anne Jeffreys will be honored by the American Cinematheque in August at screenings of their movies at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica.

Was also kinda an interesting coincidence to have both Anne Jeffreys/Ann Rutherford at the event. As in real life they are both very good friends and frequently attend events together.

The video turned out dark, but the audio was too good to waste so I used it with the stills.

I would have loved to have SEEN the interviews, instead of a montage of stills, but I'm guessing it wasn't filmed. Thanks for posting!

Wonderful to hear Ann Rutherford. She is one of my favorites. I would love to hear more of her interview.
