Direct Archaeological Evidence for the Book of Mormon

Critics who contend the Book of Mormon has no archaeological evidence are simply uninformed. No, not everything is archaeologically confirmed, any more than everything in *any* ancient document is, but there is evidence for the Book of Mormon, without question.

With some crafty rethinking of the routes taken it could possibly be the right place but not by what was the traditional routes. And if you want to use carbon dating.. I guarantee you lose.

@kiggityk There were no written vowels in early Hebrew. So, Nahom without vowels would spell what? NHM. What was found, NHM. And it was found in the right place. I am curious how you would argue otherwise. Lehi and his family travelled South, then South, South-East until they came to NHM, and then went directly East to a Paradise they called Bountiful. South, South-East of Jerusalem is Nahom, which, if you travel east, you hit the only oasis on the East coast with trees and rivers.

And by dismissing carbon dating of horse bones found in the Americas with a wave of the hand, does not make them go away. That is an argument that can no longer be used.

Also, how does calling people demons help in missionary work? Does that seem to be working for you?

Show me one thing you found archaeological that proves the Book of Mormon was right about it. And I guarantee you we can find at least 10 things about that piece of evidence that proves the Book of Mormon wrong. Have you found a honey bee yet? How bout a horse, chariot, advanced masonry tools, barley, ... shall I go on.. You are spewing lies. And are a demon because of it.

@kiggityk Sure. Nahom is mentioned in the BOM. Recently, an ancient city was discovered called Nahom, in the right place, with the right name, in the right spot. Horse bones have been found in the Americas, which carbon date to BOM time periods. There is an article on our website by Wade Miller about that. Hordeum Pussillum (Barley) is native to the Americas and never disappeared. Perhaps you should read the BOM yourself and not rely on anti-Mormon material for accurate information.
