At this point amnesty has been happening for a long time. What should be declared is at this point if your illegally coming here on your own accord, that from today on no Illegal or any more new illegal births will be allowed, so if you try the risk, even if your illegal parents birth a child and he or she has been living here 15 years, you will still be deported and you can blame your parents.

The problem with using SS#'s is that it's ILLEGAL, UNCONSTITUTIONAL, IMMORAL, and REPUGNANT to everything American, to have a national ID. When the SS system was put in place, it was specifically promised to NEVER use your SS# as an ID. In 1984, they made it a federal offense for anyone to use your SS# as a way to identify people. Sure, that law is often unenforced and ignored, but a national id system is step #1 of a slave-state, and freedom is more important that immigration control.

You don't need to ID people with E-Verify. I runs a check on your SS# and you got to match up. The only thing I see that we need is to have the SS people get our pictures from the DL people and it can be pretty effective.

I want to vote for anyone better than Perry or Hu. If Medina can get out more info on what she will do then she has my vote if it is good.

E-Verify SUCKS!!! That's a liberty thing and outweighs the immigrant thing. Not to mention its a complete boon-doggle program that will end up cost hundred of millions if not billions of dollars to id people when we already have an id system in place with state id's and dl's.

She argues to enforce the rules so NO ILLEGALS can get dl's. She clearly inicated that in the debate Friday.

Why is she calling for no drivers licence for illegals when they can't get one now without a US birth certificate?

Why hasn't she pushed for E-verify and fines for employers that hire illegals? Where are her real solutions in that regard?

Will she prevent illegals from getting instate tuition or just play along like Perry and let them have it?

Medina is NOT pro-amnesty. Where did you get that assretion? He last name sounds spanish so she is pro-amnesty?

In the last debate Medina called for secure borders and no dl's to illegals.

Outside of these issues, where do you believe the governor of Texas can do anything more about this issue? Waste money on that ID system they are trying to put into place? We already have a DL system, use that.
