When i build/Play a family the walls turn Red. :/

make your family gett money ACTIVATE boolprop and then type in familyFunds number and the family name

if you are biulding a home with a sim livin in the lot, then the sim has to own up money to pay for walls and floors, everything cost money. if you decide to biuld a home with no sim on the lot, then its free, but when a sim wants to buy it, it has to own up money to pay for everything.
