I've driven one half a size bigger - it's 7.25" (184mm) gauge and is just down the road from my house. I don't own it and didn't build it - its owner has built several large US locos in this gauge and they're all masterpieces. Very enjoyable to drive! We had an open day a couple of months back where a child asked why the driver was putting black pebbles into the fire. Kids today need to know more about steam! lol
