Why not have a spokesman from the ACLU on the show so they can voice their part of the ONE SIDED argument?

Nothing about the SO laws will protect children or anybody for that matter, it's all just fodder to get votes and to "look good" to the sheeple.
We have a US and State Constitution, and you cannot trample on one groups rights without doing the same for all.
