The BBC Inside Out West tells a story about a 9 year old girl from the UK with one thing on her Christmas list....to walk. Born with Cerebral Palsy, she will travel to America for an operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy- a procedure not yet available in the UK. It is her hope that after this procedure she will be able gain the independence she has always dreamed of.

  • why did you delete my message? i wanted her to read it.

  • @iamacoolkorean I didnt feel your comment was very positive. The girl is only 9 years old and doesnt need to be told that you "don't like her attitude." based on an 11 minute news story.

  • I have Cerebral Palsy too and she is an amazing girl!:) I feel angry with myself too most days but she is incredible

  • This was incredibly touching...I'm still crying! A dear friend had the same surgery from Dr. Park and is reporting much success. God bless Abigail, her family, Dr. Park and all of the others affected in any way by CP. What an amazing video. Thank you for posting and sharing her story with all of us!
