  • JJ Niles also WROTE many of these songs in the style of Appalachian folk music and claimed that he collected them.

  • This is terrific, beyond what words can express.

  • he is denish

  • idk why, but for some reason this makes me feel empty. i love john jacob niles though, hes great

  • Does anyone know where this song comes from? I know JJN traveled around the US collecting folk songs.

  • Magic!

  • This is UNREAL.

  • Such a subtle, sympathetic, and attune mind and voice jj niles had.....his style is so immediate and alarming. beautiful. His intonation makes every word and note seem absolutely crucial. He brings american vernacular music to its highest interpretive state. How can one describe music like this?

  • WHERE CAN I FIND THE LYRICS OF IT? IT IS SUCH AND AMAZING AND MYSTERIOUS SONG AND VOICE....

  • toutches me right deep inside
