The Gorilla, played by Billy Van, is one of those characters, like Wile E. Coyote, that makes you wonder why they keep trying. Though mostly remembered for simply falling over(usually with the help of a golf ball to the head), the Gorilla sometimes did other things as this clip illustrates.

Hi there, the gorilla is actually Paul Shultz as per wilkpedia :)  I would not be surprised though if Billy Van did the odd sketch and he was truly a genius and a talent I have not seen since.
