@ChrisGamerr I meant GW2. lol.

@Rosehelify Oh also, making YOU be able to squeeze out fun out of a game instead of THEM squeezing money out of YOU out of a game is alot better formula imo.
Makes for a "you deserve my money" instead of a "STOP FUCKING TAKING MY MONEY" comment on the game. Arcnet DEFINTELY deserves money out of GW. More than Blizzard EVER milked out of WoW. Arcnet even makes me WANT to donate money to them, although I don't have much so I can't. :(

@Rosehelify This... is one of the best comments I have ever seen in YEARS.

Goodbye WOW

@TranceDjFate I agree. I stopped playing WoW but had some fun moments in it. The game is not so great at story-telling though.

@lycon7000 Buy once, play forever. =)

@Rosehelify So damn true. GW you can beat the whole story with 4 friends (or however many are allowed in a party... forgot lol) while in WoW you better get a 20 man raid together just to get the ARMOR to fight the last boss and the drops are random too so goodluck with that. GW is much more enjoyable.

30 sec commercial to see 110 sec of some duche clicking 2 skills... sigh

Is guild wars 2 a free game? Like buy and play, or do you need a monthly subscription?
@ThisNameIsBanned The way you worded that made it sound like the games you play are idiot free because WoW is there.
No game is idiot free.
Most other mmo's I've played are just filled with the ex wow morons who tell you to go back to wow if you say anything bad about the game.
Not saying thats you.
Oh and an mmo without the social aspect would work. No shit.
Overall it sounded like you were talking down from your pedestal..

I played WoW for a few years (time spaced out), and I became totally burnt out a while back. It expressly rewards the players that spend the most time on it; yes skill is involved, but gear is extremely important to your success. Since it has a monthly sub, there are many elements designed simply to waste your time and it feels like a chore. Guild Wars 2 looks very exciting to me since the game appears to focus on content and your enjoyment of the game, not how much cash they can squeeze out.
