One fine Saturday around 11:00 am I heard that someone was playing the drums outside. I circled the block and it turned out to be one of my friends. He lived about 2 blocks away. I asked what he was doing and he replied he was just jamming out. I asked him if I could jam out on the drums as well he said yes. I instantly noticed the ride. It sounded nice, so I asked him if he would sell it, he replied "I've had it in my backyard, you can have it" can you believe this!!!!!

  • Hi hcastillo, that vintage 22" sounds great! Check out my vids, I have a sound-test of 3 vintage Avedis Zildjians that I recorded just after scoring a late-60's 22" Ride for $37 on eBay & cleaning it up. Amazing cymbals, but I think yours might sound even better. Send me a close-up pic of the stamp on yours, I might be able to help you identify the decade it was made.

  • wish I could give you the picture of the stamp but I gave the cymbal away...just playing!!!! Sure, I will just get it out of storage and send you the picture. Cool vids of your drum stuff...

  • I've been searchin' 4 this musical type of ride since I've been havig drums issues :D. Anyway congrats for THE 22" ride.
