Early Career of John Kocinski - AMA 250cc GP - Part 2 of 2

This is a review of the 1987 and 1988 AMA 250cc GP seasons. Kocinski was riding for Kenny Roberts and won the championship both years. Kocinski also won the 1989 AMA 250cc National Championship before moving up to the 250cc World Championship in 1990. He won that title in his first try and a few years later, in 1997, Kocinski also won the World Superbike Championship. This impressive resume ranks Kocinski as one of the greatest American racers.
