Former Attorney General Michael Mukasey told Sean Hannity tonight that the Obama Administration drafted a memo to protect the president from blame if the mission to kill or capture Osama Bin Laden would have failed. That way Obama could blame the general instead of taking the blame himself. Mukasey wrote about it this week in the Wall Street Journal.

It goes to show how slimy politicians like Obama are. If it worked, then he wants to take all the glory, but if it didn't work it was someone else's fault.

As it so easily can be seen, Obama plans his lies well. That's also how he fooled so many people into voting for him in the first place. He's outstanding at it.

Obama: "I" did this; "MY" direction. "I" did that. Bush's speech was all about the actual forces who did the work.

Notice the difference between the two speeches.

Obama speech, Sunday, May 1, 2011:

And so shortly after taking office, I directed Leon Panetta to make the killing or capture of bin Laden the top priority of our war against al Qaeda, even as I continued our broader efforts to disrupt, dismantle, and defeat his network.

Then, last August, after years of painstaking work by my intelligence community, I was briefed on a possible lead to bin Laden. It was far from certain, and it took many months to run this thread to ground.

GW Bush upon capture of Saddam: The success of this mission is tribute to men and women now serving in Iraq . The operation was based on the superb work of intelligence analysts who found the Dictator’s footprints in a vast country. The operation was carried out with skill and precision by a brave fighting force. Our servicemen/women and our coalition allies have faced many dangers in the hunt for members of the fallen regime, and in their effort to bring hope and freedom to the Iraqi people.

@DRTYFN I'm not a liberal, I'm not even American Im Irish. Osama bin laden death is a result of Obamas policies of ACTUALY looking for him and then deciding to go ahead with a risky mission that the soldier executed perfectly. When the us army had bin laden surrounded at Tora Bora, a us general pleaded with Rumsfeld for permission to go after him and Rumsfeld declined and he got away because of republican incompetence. That's not a lie either, it on the public record!!
